Where does your inspiration come from? Where do you look first when it comes to redecorating a room in your home? Many people go to magazines, or Pinterest, or even look to their favorite TV shows! Well, I am no different! Here is a beautiful room I was inspired by, and now you can get it on FurnitureCrate!
It’s always a good time had by all at the Last Vegas Market, but this time I wanted to let you know a little more about it. Sure, the best part is seeing all the new items, design ideas and trends, and don’t worry, we’ll get to that… But networking and communicating with our industry partners is a big part of it. Not only does it allow us as buyers to network with hundreds of potential new manufacturers, but we get to meet and discuss our current state of business with existing suppliers. We are fortunate enough to have a strong sales representation in our home state of Michigan and having the opportunity to meet with many of them in such a short span of time, is rewarding and beneficial in itself!
Ok, now onto some of our favorite new items we saw at market!
Hope you enjoyed the trip!
Hope you have enjoyed part 2… More coming! We always have such a great time at market!
Hi Everyone! We just got back from an amazing trip to Las Vegas and World Market Center. It is a hot spot for fantastic finds, hot design trends, and interior design inspiration. We’d like to share with you our favorite moments from the past week. Keep checking back for more, there were so many, I had to break them out into separate posts!
These beds below give interest that is unexpected!
Stay tuned for more later!
This cold winter and all this snow has got me getting a bad case of cabin fever. Wishing I were somewhere hot and tropical! So I had to create a tropics inspired space to escape to! Mix and match furniture finishes create a curated look that has been acquired over several years. My choice is a dark rich sleigh bed by Magnussen and a Hooker distressed accent chest that can also be used as a nightstand. A jute rug is a staple in home decor in tropical locations. And add fun pops of color to create interest with a cozy club chair in mango and coordinating decorative pillows in orange and green foliage. Finish it off with a classic paint color, Benjamin Moore Oakwood Manor. Can’t you just hear the sounds of the ocean?
Here it is; the first design board on the blog and I designed it just for you! I wanted to create a neutral living room with a cozy, yet modern feel to it. For as little as $3,700 you can easily create this comfy design from the 8 x 10 area rug, to the lighting, upholstery and occasional tables by mixing and matching various brands like Broyhill, Magnussen and angelo:Home. Don’t forget to finish your favorite design by covering the walls with a coordinating color. For this design I recommend Gray Mirage by Benjamin Moore. It will ground the room, yet create a subtle contrast against the beige sofa. Thank you and I’d love to hear your thoughts on this design. See you later!
